ARTICLE 4: TRANSITORIES OF JANUARY 24, 2006
First Article.- This Decree shall enter into force on the day following its publication in the Official Journal of the Federation (Diario Oficial de la Federación).
Second Article.- For the purposes of the provisions of section VII of Article 4. of this Law (LCE: Art. 4), the Dependencies and Entities of the Federal Public Administration (Administración Pública Federal) that administer or control a non-tariff regulation or restriction, shall develop within a period not exceeding 12 months, counted from the entry into force of this Decree, a plan of work in which they will establish responsibilities, goals, committed deadlines and also actions necessary to interconnect electronically with the Secretary of Economy (Secretaría de Economía) and with the Secretary of Finance and Public Credit (Secretaría de Hacienda y Crédito Público).
Likewise, electronic interconnection with authorized pre-validation entities authorized in terms of the provisions of Article 16-A of the Customs Law (Ley Aduanera) (LA: Art. 16A), so that the customs agent or its representative is able to verify compliance with the corresponding non-tariff regulation or restriction.
