ARTICLE 187: ELABORATION OF THE TRANSIT CUSTOMS DECLARATION (PEDIMENTO) OF FINAL CONSUMPTION OF GOODS
For the purposes of article 126 of the Law (LA: Art. 126), an internal transit customs declaration (pedimento) for a trailer, semi-trailer or container will be prepared in which the number of packages and the description of the merchandise will be recorded, as stated in the transport document, as the case may be.
Trailers, semi-trailers, or containers must carry the official padlocks that secure their doors, from their entry into national territory.
Twenty-foot containers and those transported on a single stowage platform must be stowed door to door. Containers over twenty feet must be transported in gondolas and the container access door will be placed against the wall of the container.
