ARTICLE 29-G:
In the case of newly created financial institutions, including subsidiaries of foreign financial entities of any kind, rights for inspection and surveillance will begin to be covered on the next business day after they start operations and will be proportionally caused as of this date and until the end of the fiscal year. For the purposes of determining these rights, will be followed the provisions of article 29-D or 29-E of the Law (LFD: Art. 29D) (LFD: Art. 29E), as appropriate to the sector to which the newly created entity belongs.
The financial entities or companies indicated in articles 29-D and 29-E of the Law (LFD: Art. 29D) (LFD: Art. 29E), will not be obliged to pay rights for inspection and surveillance when, by any act of the competent authority for this, or for any other cause provided by law, lose the supervised entity character referred to in articles 29-D and 29-E (LFD: Art. 29D) (LFD: Art. 29E). The foregoing shall apply from the moment that the respective notification of the authority in question becomes effective and it has been signed, or the assumptions provided in the corresponding laws are updated. In the event that the act of authority referred to in this paragraph has been without effect by resolution of the competent authority for it, the entities indicated in articles 29-D and 29-E of the Law (LFD: Art. 29D) (LFD: Art. 29E) must cover the fees that they have stopped paying in terms of the applicable provisions.
The Federations, as well as the Auxiliary Supervision Fund of Cooperative Savings and Loan Societies and Protection of their Savers (Fondo de Supervisión Auxiliar de Sociedades Cooperativas de Ahorro y Préstamo y de Protección a sus Ahorradores) that, in accordance with the provisions of article 29-D (LFD: Art. 29D), sections IX and X of the Law, respectively, have exercised the option established in the aforementioned sections, will adjust the respective quota by virtue of the incorporation of companies or integration bodies that supervise and cover the difference corresponding to the following business day that in which said companies or organizations register in the Public Registry of Commerce the authorization granted by the National Banking and Stock Commission (Comisión Nacional Bancaria y de Valores) or are subject to the supervision of the Federation, as the case may be. The aforementioned adjustment will be made proportionally over the minimum quota referred to in article 29-D, sections IX or X of this code (LFD: Art. 29D), as appropriate, from that date and until the end of the fiscal year.
In the case of foreign exchange centers, money transmitters or non-regulated multi-purpose financial corporations, the rights for inspection and surveillance will begin to be covered on the next business day after the one in which they obtain registration with the National Banking and Stock Commission (Comisión Nacional Bancaria y de Valores) or inform the National Commission for the Protection and Defense of Users of Financial Services (Comisión Nacional para la Protección y Defensa de los Usuarios de Servicios Financieros) of its constitution, in terms of article 87-K of the General Law of Organizations and Auxiliary Activities of Credit (Ley General de Organizaciones y Actividades Auxiliares del Crédito), as appropriate, and will be caused proportionally from this date and until the end of the fiscal year. For the purposes of determining these rights, the provisions of section VII of article 29-E of the Law shall be followed. (LFD: Art. 29E)
