ARTICLE 29-H:

In the case of the merger of financial entities or subsidiaries of foreign financial entities, the amount of rights of the inspection and surveillance to be paid by the merging entity or the newly created entity during the rest of the year in which this event occurs, shall be the sum of the fees that correspond to the entities participating in the merger, without in any case the result of said sum exceeding the maximum or fixed fee that corresponds according to articles 29-D or 29-E of the Law (LFD: Art. 29D) (LFD: Art. 29E), as the case may be. These rights must be paid at the time of receiving the corresponding authorization or, where appropriate, from the time the merger takes effect when authorization is not required in terms of the applicable provisions.

When a financial entity or a subsidiary of foreign financial entities referred to in article 29-D of the Law (LFD: Art. 29D) is transformed during the corresponding fiscal year, the amount of rights for the inspection and surveillance to be paid during the rest of the year will be the one that was paid in the year according to the section that corresponded to it before its transformation, or the minimum fee corresponding to the entity in which it was transformed, whichever is greater.
