ARTICLE  31:

Institutions  that  issue  bonds  in  accordance  with  the  Insurance  and  Bond  Institutions  Law  (Ley  de  Instituciones  de  Seguros  y  de  Fianzas)  subject  to  inspection  and  surveillance  by  the  National  Insurance  and  Bonding  Commission  (Comisión  Nacional  de  Seguros  y  Fianzas),  must  pay  for  the  right,  in  accordance  with  the  following:

  • Institutions  that  issue  bonds  will  pay  the  equivalent  of  3.5%  of  the  premiums  they  receive.

    •  

  • In  the  case  of  premiums  for  re-guarantee  received  from  foreign  companies,  the  right  will  be  charged  on  the  premium  deducted  the  amount  of  the  commission  paid  to  the  foreign  company:  and

    •  

  • (Repealed).

    •  

  • The  controlling  companies  of  financial  groups  ??????????.??.  $  750,527.00  annually.

    •  

  • Each  complementary  services  company  that  is  part  of  financial  groups  whose  re-guarantee  companies  are  under  the  supervision  of  the  National  Insurance  and  Bonding  Commission  (Comisión  Nacional  de  Seguros  y  Fianzas)  ?????????  $  40,938.00  per  year.

    •  

    The  fees  determined  in  accordance  with  this  article  must  be  manifested  to  the  Secretary  of  Finance  and  Public  Credit  (Secretaría  de  Hacienda  y  Crédito  Público)  within  the  first  15  days  of  each  two-month  period.  When  these  manifestations  are  presented,  they  will  show  the  receipts  of  having  paid  the  amount  of  the  rights  caused,  subject  to  the  adjustments  that  are  made  when  the  said  manifestations  are  verified  through  the  respective  inspections.
