ARTICLE  205:  INFORMATION  RELATING  TO  GOODS  TRANSFERRED  TO  THE  SYSTEM  OF  ADMINISTRATION  AND  DISPOSAL  OF  GOODS

 

For  the  purposes  of  article  157  of  the  Law  --228-Art.  157--,  in  the  case  of  goods  transferred  to  the  Administration  and  Disposal  of  Goods  Service  (Servicio  de  Administración  y  Enajenación  de  Bienes),  prior  to  the  issuance  of  the  resolution  authorizing  the  return  of  the  merchandise,  the  Customs  Authority  will  require  said  information  from  the  decentralized  body  regarding  the  destination  of  the  same.

If  the  merchandise  is  still  physically  in  the  deposits  of  the  Administration  and  Disposal  of  Goods  Service  (Servicio  de  Administración  y  Enajenación  de  Bienes),  the  Customs  Authority  will  request  the  merchandise  from  the  decentralized  body  and  will  make  it  available  to  the  individual;  otherwise,  it  will  notify  the  interested  party  of  the  material  and  legal  impossibility  for  its  return.

If  the  authorization  of  the  payment  of  financial  compensation  or  in  any  form,  a  copy  of  the  resolution  must  be  taken  to  the  Administration  and  Disposal  of  Goods  Service  (Servicio  de  Administración  y  Enajenación  de  Bienes)  to  carry  out  the  actions  leading  to  compliance  with  said  payment.
