ARTICLE 226: CANCELLATION OF THE CUSTOMS AGENT´S PATENT

The cause for cancellation of the customs agent´s patent provided for in article 165, section II, subsection a) of the Law (LA: Art. 165), will proceed when the omission in the payment of Foreign Trade Taxes, duties and compensatory fees, derives from the Customs Recognition or from any faculty of verification of the Customs Authorities with respect to the merchandise that are introduced or extracted from the national territory.
