ARTICLE 229: FORBIDDEN IMPORT OR EXPORT MERCHANDISE

For the purposes of article 165, sections II, subsection c), and VII, subsection c) of the Law (LA: Art. 165), imported or exported merchandise shall be considered forbidden (RGCE 2022: Anexo 17) (LA: Art. 176) (LA: Art. 178) (LA: Art. 151) (LA: Art. 183A) (CFF: Art. 102), when the following:

Those that have that character in accordance with the Law of General Import and Export Taxes (Ley de los Impuestos Generales de Importación y de Exportación);

Those that are destined to the regime of fiscal deposit and cannot be object of said regime in accordance with the established in the article 123 of the Law (LA: Art. 123) (RGCE 2022: Regla 4.5.9), and

Those that cannot be imported or exported in accordance with the laws, decrees and agreements issued in accordance with the Foreign Trade Law (Ley de Comercio Exterior).
