ARTICLE 170:

    For the services provided by the competent authority to national or foreign vessels during ordinary hours of operation, which carry out any type of high seas navigation or cabotage, the right will be paid for each arrival authorized, dispatch, anchor maneuver or emendation, whenever at the request of the individual, according to the following fees:

  • From more than 3 to 20 gross tonnage units .................... $ 310.00
  •  

  • From more than 20 to 100 gross tonnage units .................. $ 468.00
  •  

  • From more than 100 to 500 gross tonnage units .................. $ 767.00
  •  

  • From more than 500 to 1,000 gross tonnage units ............... $ 1,560.00
  •  

  • From more than 1,000 to 15,000 gross tonnage units ............... $ 3,129.00
  •  

  • From more than 15,000 to 25,000 gross tonnage units ............. $ 3,987.00
  •  

  • From more than 25,000 to 50,000 gross tonnage units .............. $ 4,599.00
  •  

  • Of more than 50,000 gross tonnage units ...................... $ 5,545.00
  •  

    In the cases indicated in section I and when the vessel is used for the cargo and passage service for inland navigation, 50% of the established fee will be paid.

    When the services are provided on non-working days or outside the ordinary hours of operation, the fees will double as indicated and will be paid, applicable to each case, except as provided in section I.

    For the purposes of this article, it will be understood that the ordinary hours of operation comprise from Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

    The right referred to in this article will not be paid for the vessels that fluvial, lacustrine, or interior navigation of ports that are dedicated to commercial fishing.

    National vessels of up to 30 gross tonnage units engaged in fishing activities will not pay the right referred to in this article.

    The payment that must be made to the competent authority for the services described above, may be made in its entirety prior to the authorization of the dispatch of the vessel from the port in question.
