ARTICLE 199:
Individuals and legal entities who, under exceptional permits, carry out fishing with foreign-registered vessels within the exclusive economic zone located outside the territorial sea, shall pay the fishing right per net ton of registration or fraction of the boat, for each trip up to 60 days, according to the fee of ......................... $ 3,241.00
In the cases in which to practice fishing the capture of species that serve as bait is required, individuals and legal entities referred to in the first paragraph of this article will pay an additional 25% of the fishing right in their charge.
The payment of the right referred to in this article will be made prior to the extraction of the species indicated in the corresponding permit, in the offices authorized for this purpose by the Secretary of Finance and Public Credit (Secretaría de Hacienda y Crédito Público).
The provisions of this article will not modify the conventions or agreements celebrated in this matter by Mexico with other countries.
