ARTICLE 282-B:

When legal individuals or companies, in order to fulfill their legal obligation of wastewater treatment, hire or use services provided by wastewater treatment companies, these companies will have to meet the provisions established in this chapter as long as they use or contaminate national goods as receiver bodies of the discharges of wastewater being treated.

Legal individuals or companies that hire or use the aforementioned services, will be solidary responsible with the wastewater treatment companies, of paying the correspondent duty.
