For the use, enjoyment or exploitation, for use or reproduction by printed or digital photography, of photographs by the National Institute of Anthropology and History (Instituto Nacional de Antropología e Historia) and the National Council for Culture and the Arts (Consejo Nacional para la Cultura y las Artes), for purposes sanctioned by the competent authorities of the same Institute as well as the aforementioned Council, rights will be paid according to the following fees:

The authorities and competent public institutions in the research, conservation, restoration and recovery of archaeological, artistic and historical monuments and monument areas will not pay the rights established in this article, in terms of the Federal Law on Monuments and Archaeological, Artistic and Historical Zones (Ley Federal de Monumentos y Zonas Arqueológicos, Artísticos e Históricos).
