ARTICLE 288-A-1:

People who have access are obliged to pay the right to access the museums owned by the Federation and administered by the National Institute of Fine Arts and Literature (Instituto Nacional de Bellas Artes y Literatura), in accordance with the following fees:

Precinct type 1: ....................................... $ 70.00

Precinct type 2: ....................................... $ 55.00

Precinct type 3: ....................................... $ 35.00

For the purposes of this article, the following are considered:

Museum of the Palacio de Bellas Artes; National Art's Museum; Museum of Modern Art and Museum Tamayo International Contemporary Art "Rufino Tamayo".

Alvar and Carmen T. Carrillo Gil Museum; National Museum of San Carlos; National Museum of the Stamp and National Museum of Architecture.

Diego Rivera and Frida Kahlo House-Study Museum; Siqueiros Public Art Room / La Tallera; Alameda Art Laboratory and Diego Rivera Mural Museum.

Payment of the right referred to in this provision must be made prior to entering the corresponding venues.

The fees of the rights indicated in this article will be adjusted for their payment in multiples of $ 5.00. To make this adjustment, the fees will increase or decrease, as the case may be, to the nearest adjustment unit. When the fee is at the same distance of two adjustment units, it will be decreased to the previous unit.

They will not pay the right referred to in this article, people over 60, under 13, retirees, pensioners, disabled, teachers and active students, as well as interns or researchers who have permission from the National Institute of Fine Arts and Literature (Instituto Nacional de Bellas Artes y Literatura), to carry out studies related to museums, to which this article refers. Likewise, national and foreign visitors residing in Mexico who access the museums on Sundays will be exempt from the payment of this right. Members of the International Council of Museums (Consejo Internacional de Museos) will pay 50% of the fee referred to in this article.
