ARTICLE 9E: CONCEPT OF BUSINESS DAYS

For purposes of electronic notifications through the customs electronic system (RLA: Art. 1) (LA: Art. 6), every calendar day will be considered as a business day, with the exception of Saturdays and Sundays, as well as those that are indicated in the Federal Fiscal Code (Código Fiscal de la Federación) (CFF: Art. 12), and any other applicable customs regulations. (RGCE 2022: Regla 1.2.7)

Procedures carried out through the customs electronic system must be performed between 7:00 and 18:00 hours, central time. Those procedures performed after 18:00 hours or in non-business days will be deemed to be made on the next business day.
