ARTICLE 27: DESTRUCTION BY ACCIDENT OF MERCHANDISE IN DEPOSIT BEFORE THE CUSTOMS

If the merchandise on deposit with customs are destroyed by accident (RLA: Art. 56), the fiscal obligation will be extinguished, unless the interested parties destine the remains to some customs regime. (LA: Art. 28)
