ARTICLE  29:  FLUVIAL  TRAFFIC

 

The  entry  or  exit  of  merchandise  from  national  territory  may  be  made  by  vessels  in  fluvial  traffic,  when  previously  authorized  by  the  Service  Tax  Administration  (Servicio  de  Administración  Tributaria)  --3-Art.  1--,  provided  that  the  requirements  established  for  these  purposes  by  means  of  Rules  are  fulfilled,  and  the  provisions  of  maritime  traffic  are  applicable  thereto.

When  it  is  intended  to  introduce  or  extract  merchandise  from  national  territory  using  fluvial  currents  as  a  means  of  conduction,  the  authorization  referred  to  in  article  39  of  these  Regulations  must  be  obtained  beforehand.  --12-Art.  39--  --199-Art.  11--
