ARTICLE 30: COMPUTATION OF DEADLINES FOR ABANDONMENT MERCHANDISE

     

    The terms referred to in section II of article 29 of this Law (LA: Art. 29), will be computed from the following day that in which the merchandise enter the warehouse in which they remain in deposit before customs, except in the following cases:

  • In the case of operations carried out in maritime traffic, the period shall be computed from the following day that in which the unloading of the vessel was completed.
  •  

  • In the case of merchandise (RLA: Art. 90) belonging to foreign embassies and consulates, international organizations of which Mexico is a member, and baggage (RLA: Art. 90) and household items (RLA: Art. 90) of the officials and employees of the aforementioned representations and organizations, the abandonment periods shall begin three months after the merchandise have entered a deposit with customs.
