ARTICLE 35: INFORMATION TO BE SENT BY SEPOMEX IN RELATION TO THE IMPORT OR EXPORT OF PROHIBITED MERCHANDISE
When the merchandise whose import or export is prohibited are introduced or extracted via postal from the national territory (RLA: Art. 229), the Mexican Postal Service (Servicio Postal Mexicano) will inform the Customs Authority of said circumstance, through the Customs Electronic System (RLA: Art. 1) by Electronic Document (LA: Art. 2) or Digital (LA: Art. 2), in the terms and conditions established by the Service Tax Administration (Servicio de Administración Tributaria) (RLA: Art. 1) through Rules (RGCE 2022: Regla 3.1.13), so that said authority can proceed in accordance with the applicable legal provisions.
