ARTICLE 40: DISCHARGE OF VESSELS IN HIGH-ALTITUDE TRAFFIC.

     

    The captain or general shipping agent or shipping consignee agent with cargo in high-altitude traffic will deliver to the personnel in charge of the fiscal or controlled premises and to the Customs Authority, before starting the unloading maneuvers, a list that will express the marks in alphabetical order, the numbers, quantity and class of the packages, as well as the numbers of the bill of lading that covers them. The list must indicate the name, class, flag, and date of arrival of the vessel and will be prepared separately for each statement or document that covers the packages to be unloaded.

    The information of the list referred to in the previous paragraph must be transmitted to the Customs Authority, through the Customs Electronic System (RLA: Art. 1) (LA: Art. 6), by Electronic Document (LA: Art. 2) or Digital. (LA: Art. 2)
