ARTICLE 143: ATTRIBUTIONS OF FEDERAL EXECUTIVE POWER (PODER EJECUTIVO FEDERAL)

In addition to those conferred by other laws, the attributions of the Federal Executive Branch (Poder Ejecutivo Federal) in customs matters are:

Establish or abolish border, interior and aerial and maritime traffic customs, as well as designate their location and functions.

Suspend the services of customs for as long as it deems convenient, when the interest of the nation requires it.

Repealed.

Establish or suppress border regions. (LA: Art. 136)
