ARTICLE  163:  RIGHTS  OF  THE  CUSTOMS  AGENT

 

The  customs  agent's  rights  are:

 

  • Exercise  the  patent.

    •  

  • Repealed.

    •  

  • Request  the  change  of  assignment  to  a  different  customs  --307-Regla  1.4.4--,  provided  that  the  authorization  that  had  been  granted  to  act  in  its  customs  is  older  than  two  years,  --307-Regla  1.4.4--  and  verify  that  the  processing  of  the  initiated  offices  has  been  completed.  --349-Regla  7.3.9--

    •  

    It  will  not  be  necessary  to  verify  the  conclusion  of  the  clearance  initiated,  when  the  customs  agent  is  authorized  the  ascription  customs  as  additional.

     

  • Appoint  up  to  five  mandataries.  --68-Art.  218--  --230-Art.  166--

    •  

  • Charge  the  fees  agreed  with  their  client  for  the  services  provided  --307-Regla  1.4.12--,  even  in  the  case  referred  to  in  the  second  paragraph  of  section  XIV  of  article  144  of  this  Law.  --228-Art.  144--

    •  

  • Voluntarily  suspend  its  activities  --230-Art.  160--,  with  the  prior  authorization  of  the  customs  authorities.  --230-Art.  162--

  • Repealed.
