ARTICLE 52: SUSPENSION OF THE ABANDONMENT TERMS

For the purposes of article 29, section II of the Law (LA: Art. 29), the terms of abandonment of merchandise will be suspended, when in the exercise of its faculties, an authority other than the Customs Authority prevents its mobilization being subject to its mandate, regardless of the attributions that correspond to the Customs Authorities.

Said suspension shall be without effect, once the authority communicates in writing to the Customs Authority and the interested party their release, assuming that the deadlines for the abandonment in favor of the federal tax authorities will continue.
