    • ARTICLE 72: HOW THE SAMPLES TAKEN ARE PRESENTED

     

    For the purposes of article 45, first paragraph of the Law (LA: Art. 45), the sample must be contained in a container properly packed and sealed, with the name and signature of any of the following people: the importer, exporter, legal representative or its auxiliaries, customs agent, mandatary, authorized employee or dependent. Likewise, shall attach a promotion containing the following:

  • The date and place where the sample was taken;

    •  

  • The name, description and technical information enough for the identification of the merchandise;

    •  

  • The tariff fraction corresponding to the merchandise;

    •  

  • The destination and use of the merchandise, and

    •  

  • The number of the consolidated notice or customs declaration (pedimento) that covers the merchandise.
