RULE 3.4.7: TEMPORARY ADMISSION OF BORDER VEHICLES

For the purposes of articles 11 of the Decree of Used Vehicle, 62, section II, subsection b) (LA: Art. 62), second paragraph of the Law and 198 (RLA: Art. 198) of the Regulation, people residing in the border region or fringe who have definitively imported vehicles to said fringe or region, in the terms of rules 3.5.5. (RGCE 2020: Regla 3.5.5) and 3.5.6. (RGCE 2020: Regla 3.5.6), who wish to transfer their vehicle temporarily to the rest of the national territory, must meet the following requirements:

I. Request the permit for the temporary admission of vehicles referred to in article 198, section I (RLA: Art. 198) of the Regulation, before the CIITEV Module located in the north border customs of the national territory.

II. For the purposes of the provisions of article 198, section IV (RLA: Art. 198) of the Regulation, the interested party must sign a declaration in which, under protest of telling the truth, it acknowledges before the customs by which it carries out the temporary admission permit, the seizure of the vehicle in the administrative route and its character as depositary of the vehicle attaching a copy of their official identification.

III. For the purposes of article 198, section III (RLA: Art. 198) of the Regulation, residence in the border region or fringe, will be accredited by presenting an original and a simple copy of the document with which the address is verified.

IV. Cover in favor of the BANJERCITO, the amount of $400.00 (four hundred pesos 00/100 m.n.), for the procedure for issuing the permit for the temporary admission of vehicles.

V. Those established in article 198 (RLA: Art. 198) of the Regulation.

To register and obtain proof of the return of the temporarily interned vehicle, the interested party must present themselves with their vehicle to the BANJERCITO staff that operates the CIITEV module at any of the border customs of the national territory.

For the purposes of this rule, BANJERCITO is authorized to receive payment for the procedure for the temporary admission of vehicles, as well as to issue the documents that protect the temporary admission of the vehicle and its return.
