ARTICLE 89: REQUIREMENTS TO EXEMPT THE DIPLOMATIC POUCH

For the purposes of article 61, section I of the Law (LA: Art. 61), in the case of the diplomatic pouch, it will not be necessary to carry out the customs clearance of the merchandise. Said pouch may only contain diplomatic documents or objects of official use, in accordance with the provisions of the treaties to which Mexico is a part of. (RGCE 2022: Regla 1.3.1)
