    • ARTICLE 3: DEFINITION OF CONCEPTS

     

    For the purposes of this Law, the following definitions shall apply: (RLCE: Art. 1)

  • Ministry, the Secretary of Economy (Secretaría de Economía);

    •  

  • Commission, the Foreign Trade Commission (Comisión de Comercio Exterior);

    •  

  • Compensatory fees, those that apply to merchandise imported under conditions of price discrimination (LCE: Art. 30) (RLCE: Art. 38) or of subsidy (LCE: Art. 37) in their home country, in accordance with the provisions of this Law;

    •  

  • Rules, those of general nature issued by the Ministry, on regulations and non-tariff restrictions and foreign trade programs and instruments, and

    •  

  • Regulation, the Regulation of this Law.

    •  

    When this Law refers to terms in days, business days will be understood and when it refers to months or years, months or calendar years will be understood.
