    • ARTICLE 271:

    The income obtained from the collection of rights referred to in articles 268 (LFD: Art. 268), 269 (LFD: Art. 269) and 270 (LFD: Art. 270) of this Law may be used in actions to improve the conditions of educational centers and health services, as well as in physical investment with a social impact, environmental and urban development impact, including:

  • The construction, remodeling and equipping of urban public spaces;

    •  

  • Paving and maintenance works of local streets and roads, installation and maintenance of public lighting, respectful with the environment, as well as public services based on energy efficiency and renewable energy;

    •  

  • Infrastructure works for environmental protection, such as sanitary landfills, water treatment plants, installation and maintenance of public drainage works, comprehensive management of urban solid waste, improvement and monitoring of air, water and soil quality, as well as for the potable water supply;

    •  

  • Works that preserve natural areas, such as protection, restoration, rescue or rehabilitation of aquatic and terrestrial ecosystems, and for the conservation and sustainable use of wildlife, and

    •  

  • Works that positively affect urban mobility, including suburban train systems, metrocable or equivalent, or any other low-carbon, environmentally friendly public transport system.
