    • ARTICLE 192: INFRINGEMENT RELATED TO THE SECURITY OR INTEGRITY OF CUSTOMS FACILITIES

     

    The person who commits the infractions related to the security or integrity of customs facilities who:

  • Use in the areas expressly indicated by customs authorities as restricted, cell phone devices and any other means of communication. (LA: Art. 193) (RGCE 2022: Regla 3.7.18)

  • Damage buildings, equipment and other goods that are used in the customs operation by the Ministry or by companies that assist said Ministry in the terms of this Law. (LA: Art. 193) (RGCE 2022: Regla 3.7.18) (LA: Art. 158)

  • Enter vehicles that transport merchandise to the fiscal precinct whose gross weight exceeds that indicated by the Ministry through rules, unless the merchandise transported in the vehicle whose gross weight exceeds the authorized one, cannot be transported in more than one vehicle, and as long as the authorization is requested from the customs administrator one day in advance for the means of transport to enter the fiscal precinct on a certain date and time (LA: Art. 193). The provisions of this section will not be applicable in the case of concession ports or port terminals.
