ARTICLE 5: TRANSMISSION OF INFORMATION FOR THE IDENTIFICATION OF EXPLOSIVE MERCHANDISE AND FIREARMS
The companies that transport the Merchandise referred to in the second paragraph of Article 7 of the Law (LA: Art. 7), they must transmit to the Customs Authority through the Customs Electronic System, at least twenty-four hours before their arrival in the country, the information that allows the identification of the Merchandsie and their consignees, such as, type, quantity and description, as well as name, denomination or company name of the consignee, and others established by the Service Tax Administration (Servicio de Administración Tributaria) through Rules.
