RULE 1.1.10: VOLUNTARY CONTRIBUTIONS FOR MAINTENANCE, REPAIR, OR EXPANSION OF CUSTOMS

For the purposes of article 202 (LA: Art. 202) of the Law, customs agents, customs agencies, customs representatives, importers, exporters, carriers and other people related to foreign trade, may make voluntary contributions to the civil associations that are established in each of the customs to carry out maintenance, repair or expansion of their facilities.

Civil associations that are constituted in accordance with the provisions of the previous paragraph, must request their registration, complying with the provisions of procedure file 1 / LA (Customs Law) of Annex 1-A (RGCE 2020: Anexo 1A).

The registered civil association must establish and manage a fund with the voluntary contributions referred to in the first paragraph of this rule, which it will make available to the Customs Administrator, which in turn will report to the Improvement Committee, in accordance with the applicable regulations.
