RULE 6.1.4: RECTIFICATION TO REQUEST PREFERENTIAL TARIFF TREATMENT AFTER THE IMPORTATION OF MERCHANDISE
For the purposes of articles 36-A, section I, subsection d) (LA: Art. 36A) and 89 (LA: Art. 89) of the Law, when after customs clearance the customs declaration (pedimento) is rectified in order to request preferential tariff treatment of originating merchandise in accordance with commercial agreements or free trade treaties to which the Mexican State is a part of and are in force, in addition to indicating in the identifier block the corresponding code according to Appendix 8 (RGCE 2022: Apendice 8) of Annex 22, it must be attached to the customs declaration (pedimento) as indicated in rule 3.1.31. (RGCE 2022: Regla 3.1.31), the valid and current corresponding proof of origin, the certification of origin or certificate of origin.
