ARTICLE 15: CONCEPT OF PRIOR PERMIT AND CERTIFICATE OF QUOTA

For the purposes of this Regulation, it is understood as:

Prior permit for export or import, the instrument issued by the Ministry (LCE: Art. 3) (RLCE: Art. 1) to carry out the entry or exit of merchandise to or from the national territory (RLA: Art. 227), and

Certificate of quota, the instrument issued by the Ministry to assign a maximum quota or tariff-quota for export or import.

When this title refers to a permit, its shall be understood as prior permit for export or import and when mention of certificate, it shall be understood as the quota certificate corresponding to an export or import quota.
