RULE 3.1.3: REQUEST AND RENEWAL OF THE REGISTRY FOR TAKING SAMPLES OF DANGEROUS MERCHANDISE (ANNEX 23)
For the purposes of articles 45, second paragraph (LA: Art. 45) of the Law and 73 (RLA: Art. 73) of the Regulation, importers or exporters may request their registration for the taking of samples of sterile, explosive, flammable, polluting, radioactive, corrosive, dangerous, toxic, or biological infectious merchandise, or for those that require facilities or special equipment for taking them, in accordance with procedure file 51 / LA (Customs Law) of Annex 1-A (RGCE 2020: Anexo 1A).
Importers and exporters that carry out foreign trade operations under the registry referred to in this rule, must submit in the customs declaration (pedimento) the corresponding identifier according to Appendix 8 (RGCE 2020: Apendice 8) of Annex 22.
Dangerous merchandise or goods that require special facilities or equipment for their sampling, or both, are those indicated in Annex 23 .
The renewal of the registration referred to in this rule will be requested, in accordance with procedure file 51 / LA (Customs Law) of Annex 1-A (RGCE 2020: Anexo 1A).
